The Child Sponsorship Programme covers the cost of school fees, uniform, supplies, projects, and field trips.

In most Government schools there are approx. 70 children per class.

Classes start at 6am due to the large number of pupils and shortage of classrooms. Children either study in the morning or afternoon/evening.

Over 150 children are enrolled in the Child Sponsorship Programme.

About Sponsor a Child

Every day, children as young as six or seven scavenge for discarded materials in the blistering heat, trying to gather enough materials to buy food so that they can eat just once a day.

Those who scavenge earn the equivalent of about £2 a day – not even enough to buy a coffee in most of our modern coffee shops.

Children living in the squatter communities who want to go to school can’t afford the money to pay for uniforms, books and other materials that they need.

There are thousands of children in the Philippines who are trapped in poverty who have yet to discover the life-changing difference Christian compassion can make. By supporting the Child Sponsorship Programme, you can give a desperately needy child the start to make a new life and a new hope for the future through help with an education and health needs.

For £20 a month you will have the opportunity to develop a meaningful and long-lasting relationship with your sponsored child. The child you sponsor will know your name, will write to you and benefit directly from your sponsorship as you take an active role in his or her growth and development.

Christian discipleship
